The official trend exhibition "LIGHT TREND 2026 – HORIZON" was unveiled at Maison & Objet 2026, held January 15-19, 2026, at Paris Nord Villepinte. Produced by lighting designers Motoko Ishii and Reisa Akari Ishii, this exhibition introduced the latest lighting design trends through fresh perspectives and techniques to visitors from over 150 countries worldwide.
"HORIZON" emphasizes the importance of maintaining a broad perspective and vision for the future amidst rapidly changing society and technological progress. The light space was designed around a concept inspired by gazing toward the distant horizon. The exhibition unfolded across six layers, enveloping visitors in a multi-layered world where light reflected, transmitted, shimmered, and shifted color in continuous succession.

Application in the Exhibition : "Colors of the Horizon"
Aligned with Ms. Ishii's lighting design concept, this fixture was used to create a band-of-light effect in which points appearing on the wall gradually transform into lines. The changing light band, reminiscent of the horizon, supports the visual impression of the slowly shifting boundary between sky and sea.
This floodlight uses an RGB full-color light source to smoothly reproduce color tones that change over time, such as those of the sky, sea, and dusk.
Application in the Exhibition : "Colors of the Horizon"
It was used as background lighting, projecting overlapping color gradients across the entire wall surface to create a slow transition from blue tones to warm hues. It serves as the light source supporting the changing colors of the sky and sea throughout the day.
A compact, low-power consumption, high-visibility LED graphic unit. Supports multiple drawing patterns. For this exhibition, a dedicated control system was implemented to freely control the lighting patterns according to the exhibition concept.
Application in the Exhibition : "Colors of the Horizon"
To complement the expression of drawing the horizon motif with light, we created a kinetic pattern on the wall surface.
A floodlight that precisely illuminates subjects with an ultra-narrow, sharp, and beautiful beam. Additionally, the gold floodlight, born from proprietary phosphor formulation technology, achieves a vivid and unique golden light.
Application in the Exhibition : "Pearls under the Horizon"
Each of the two objects was illuminated in the color that best accentuated its beauty. Combined with pinspot lighting, this created a presentation that emphasized the objects' presence.
