Support for Communities Affected by 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake
We donated 33 units of our “AℓNUV-UV Reactor” that uses UV light for disinfection running water, to WOTA CORP. as part of our support efforts for the 2024 Noto Earthquake. After the earthquake struck, WOTA CORP. delivered the “WOTA BOX,” a portable water recycling system that can be used even during a water supply outage, to affected areas experiencing a water outage, to supply shower kits with access to hot water. Our “AℓNUV-UV Reactor” was used adopted as the running water disinfection unit for the “WOTA BOX.” We also donated 5 million yen to Ishikawa Prefecture Kyodo Bokin to support reconstruction efforts in Ishikawa Prefecture, where ten cities and seven towns are covered by the Disaster Relief Act.
Stanley Electric and our group companies would like to express our deepest condolences for those who lost their lives in the earthquake and express our heartfelt sympathy to all those affected.
Supporting the Kitano Foundation for Lifelong Integrated Education
The Foundation was established in 1975 by Stanley Electric founder Takaharu Kitano with private funds for the purpose of “promoting lifelong education.” The Stanley Group provides support to the Foundation for creating an environment where “anyone is able to study anywhere and anytime,” for those seeking to engage in learning while working and those wishing to continue their studies throughout their lives.
The “Artist Dispatch Program,” one of the Foundation’s activities, provides various learning opportunities throughout Japan. We are hoping that seeing, hearing and experiencing real things will lead people to open new doors of intelligence and sensitivity.
