Backlight Units

Liquid crystal displays (LCDs), which can be seen in many aspects of our everyday lives, require backlighting in order to be visually recognized as light-emitting displays.
For these backlights, Stanley not only provides uniform surface light sources, but also leverages its proprietary optical technology to control light distribution, enabling efficient use of light only in the required direction.
This contributes greatly to improving LCD display brightness and reducing power consumption.
In addition, we have developed thin, lightweight backlight units using our own optical components to minimize the component configuration.
