Stanley's 100th Anniversary Site

MESSAGE ON THE 100TH ANNIVERSARY
The Stanley Group is celebrating the 100th anniversary of its foundation.
In 1920, there were only about 7,000 to 8,000 automobiles on Japan's streets.
Possessed by a determination and ambition to become No. 1 in Japan,
and the belief that the age of electricity was at hand, our founder,
Takaharu Kitano, began selling light bulbs for automobiles from humble beginnings,
with no capital, no employees, and no regular customers.
Ever since then, Stanley has continued on its path,
overcoming many difficulties along the way.
I would like to sincerely thank everyone for all their support over the years.
Our 100th anniversary is not a goal for us, but merely a milestone on our journey.
Our goal is to contribute to society with safe and reliable products through the "pursuit of the value of light" and "manufacturing."
Just as light has infinite possibilities,
we too have infinite possibilities.
With a spirit of "Outshining Light,"
the Stanley Group has always been and will always be
tackling these possibilities resolutely.
We appreciate your continued support.
President
